Job Description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Check and evaluate the raw material price trends for strategic sourcing.
Analyzing Markets and understanding Supply/Demand Dynamics for all key raw material
Job work alternatives by planning and Costing
To develop buying strategies which optimize the RM prices for business plan products.
Defining and executing procurement plan based on sales plan / production plan budgeted with timely delivery to site
Develop job worker Suppliers as per the chemistry requirement for the new products.
Defining Standard Selection Criteria for job work sites and get the work executed ensuring the proper material management
Assist in real time review of budgetary expenditure of new product development expenditure
Monitor and review allocations as per OPEX
Ensure timely issuance of purchase orders and supplies
Monitor delivery schedule and constantly follow up to onsite delivery
Evaluate vendor base in terms of time, cost quality of delivery
Ensure timely release of payments as per agreement/payment terms

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :

Any Graduate / Postgraduate with material / planning management knowledge.

RELEVANT & TOTAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE :

8 - 12 years experience in sourcing / procurement of chemicals / raw materials in a Chemical/Pharma/battery chemical companies –. Should be well-conversant with the strategic sourcing commercial aspects and Job workers sites.
Knowledge of GST laws as well as Exports / Imports documentation will be an added advantage
