Manager Procurement & Demand planning

Role Overview: As a Manager Procurement & Demand Planning at Ferring India M&S, you will play a crucial role in managing organizational spend, maximizing the value of vendor partnerships, and forecasting customer demand to meet sales goals effectively. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to procurement policies, developing procurement strategies, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand and address their procurement needs. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect goods and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. - Research vendors, evaluate total cost and quality, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with key suppliers. - Monitor market trends to identify risks and opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on demand expectations and promotional activities. - Analyze demand trends, create accurate demand forecasts, and lead monthly demand review meetings to communicate forecast updates. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of demand planning activities and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Qualifications Required: - University level education and a master's degree in procurement. - 10+ years of experience in purchasing/contracting management with proven analytical and negotiation skills. - Ability to work in an international environment, manage vendor relationships, and drive cost savings. - Familiarity with procurement software and tools, fluency in English, and a team player with a team-oriented approach.,
