Manager - Pricing

Main Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and airlines to secure competitive rates and space allocations
• Lead rate negotiations and ensure timely procurement of Ocean/air freight pricing from carriers
• Managing sea and air pricing and promptly communicating rates to clients while adhering to company policies
• Rate quotation for monthly Requests for Quotation (RFQ) from key clients
• Preparing sea and air rate quotations for all export inquiries from clients
• Communicating with the sales team for rate negotiations, margin discussions, customer indications, and securing business
• Work closely with the sales team to align pricing strategies, gather customer feedback, and develop customer retention initiatives
• Negotiating with vendors to secure the most favorable rates for all logistics requirements, including overseas partners and agents
• Strategic planning to reduce costs and increase profits
• Identifying areas for improvement, optimizing costs, and enhancing profitability

Qualifications:

• University degree or suitable equivalent
• Minimum 7-10 years of work experience as a Freight Forwarder
• MS Office programs
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Outstanding people skills
