Job Description

Sales Manager – Airfreight


Main Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and airlines to secure competitive rates and space allocations
  • Lead rate negotiations and ensure timely procurement of air freight pricing from carriers
  • Drive individual business development by identifying new clients and generating air freight sales
  • Independently manage sales pipeline and meet assigned revenue targets through proactive client engagement
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet revenue targets and expand customer base
  • Provide market intelligence, trends, and competitor insights
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
  • Oversee end-to-end air freight operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipments


Qualifications:

  • University degree or suitable equivalent
  • Minimum

    7-10 years

    of work experience

    as a Freight Forwarder

  • MS Office programs
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Outstanding people skills
