Manager - Pricing

As a Manager - Pricing at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the validity and accuracy of data records on back-office systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Verifying the validity and accuracy of each data record on Back-office systems. - Escalating all vendor issues in a timely manner and tracking them through to resolution. - Acting as a single point of contact for all information needed by various teams across Data Ops Pricing and onshore business management functions. - Performing effective analysis on the assigned projects, including an end-to-end view from vendor to consumer. - Driving and managing change effectively to achieve business goals, such as process improvements and changes in procedures. - Keeping up to date with market/regulatory updates and understanding their impact on the process. - Identifying areas of opportunity within different processes and recommending/building effective controls. - Managing vendors efficiently and ensuring timely resolution of all vendor issues on the data. - Reviewing procedural changes/new initiatives, fully communicating them, and implementing them. - Preparing up-to-date reports and presentations for senior management meetings. Requirements: - Prior experience in reference data (static and pricing) for major financial hubs such as APAC, HBEU & HBUS. - Excellent knowledge of basic vendor systems like LSEG, Bloomberg, etc. - Proficient in Stakeholder Management. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. - Ability to work on your initiative. - Excellent MS Office skills. - Good eye for detail and experience in managing large data modules. - Documentation governance, including supporting all audit-related requirements. - Willingness to work flexible hours, including Night Shift/Rotation Shift.
