MANAGER, MSI TEST ENGINEERING

Role Overview: As the Equipment & Process Section Manager for the Test Department at Micron Technology, you will be based in GJ India and report to the Test Engineering Senior Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all Equipment Support (E.S.), Equipment/Process Engineering, and support Test Operations/Technical Staff to grow the organization into a world-class team. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of Equipment Support and Equipment/Process Engineering functions for the department. - Budgeting, recruiting, hiring, and training of Equipment/Process team to meet Test Operation output needs. - Budgeting, monitoring, controlling, and improving Equipment/Process related expenses. - Set up all Equipment Engineering and Equipment Support processes, including maintenance procedures. - Ensure proper Equipment/process related documentation is in place for the Test site. - Interact with peers and other Departments globally as required. - Monitor, report, improve, and address issues with throughput, performance metrics, and other engineering data. - Responsible for the performance of all equipment in the department. - Ensure availability of equipment, materials, spares, repairs, consumables to support the operation and manufacturing ramp-up. - Perform performance management of the Equipment Support Team and its members. - Develop the Equipment Support Team and its members from Skills and Leadership perspective. - Handle disciplinary issues within the Equipment Section team. Qualification Required: - Minimum 7 years of technical staff leadership experience. - Good communication, interpersonal, relationship building, and team-building skills. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, resource, and performance management skills. - Proficiency with reporting and data tools, manufacturing software systems, engineering, and equipment support software applications. - Extensive knowledge of ATE, burn-in or/and AOI scanner/laser marker/packing equipment & process. - Fluency in English. - Possession of an Engineering Degree.
