Job Description

About the role:

Roles in this job family plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials and goods
They also have skills and expertise in planning the required quantity and quality of input materials for Diageos logistical and manufacturing operations
They normally have expertise and knowledge in logistics to be able to determine the most efficient, cost effective and timely method, taking into account transportation and warehousing capacity
They analyse sales data and forecasts, current resource levels and capacity, monitor current volumes and usage to prepare procurement plans in order to meet demand

Role Responsibilities:

Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the company in the market
Acts as a resource for other team members; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements
Solves problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of other sources of information
