Job Roles & Responsibilities -

Inventory & Stores Management

• Manage inventory of raw materials, consumables, spares, WIP, and finished goods
  
• Maintain optimum stock levels to support uninterrupted production
  
• Monitor stock movement, slow-moving, and non-moving items
  
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation
  

Material Receipt & Issue

• Receive materials as per purchase orders and delivery documents
  
• Coordinate with Quality for inspection and acceptance of materials
  
• Issue materials to production against authorized requisitions
  
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed
  

Documentation & ERP Handling

• Maintain accurate records of inward, outward, and balance stock
  
• Update transactions in ERP/software (SAP, Tally, or similar systems)
  
• Prepare daily and monthly inventory and consumption reports
  
• Ensure documentation is audit-ready
  

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, PPC, Quality, and Logistics teams
  
• Communicate material shortages or excess stock proactively
  
• Support vendor returns and replacement processes
  

Dispatch & Logistics Support

• Assist in packing, labeling, and dispatch of finished goods
  
• Prepare dispatch documents such as challans, invoices, and e-way bills
  
• Coordinate with transporters for timely dispatch
  

Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping

• Ensure safe material handling and storage practices
  
• Maintain 5S and cleanliness in store areas
  
• Follow company policies, ISO standards, and safety guidelines
  

Team Supervision

• Supervise store assistants and helpers
  
• Allocate work and monitor daily activities
  
• Train staff on standard store procedures
  

Key Skills & Requirements

• Diploma / Graduate in any discipline (Logistics / SCM preferred)
  
• 25 years of experience in stores or warehouse in a manufacturing setup
  
• Knowledge of inventory control, FIFO, stock audits
  
• Basic computer skills and ERP knowledge
  
• Good coordination and communication skills
