Job Description

  • Act as the MarCom SPOC across CSR funders, Alliance partners, implementation partners, and internal teams to ensure unified, high-quality communication.
  1. Own holistic brand, marketing, and communications strategy from planning to execution with support from a team.

  2. Lead brand communications by creating clear, compelling content: decks, social media, scripts, articles, speeches, impact stories, newsletters, and campaigns.

  3. Drive digital marketing initiatives that strengthen brand visibility, grow audiences, and reinforce Samhita s positioning.

  4. Manage and grow social media presence , ensuring consistent tone, strong storytelling, and high engagement across channels.

  5. Lead media communications and PR , including press releases, features, interviews, op-eds, and relationships with journalists and media partners to grow share of voice.

  6. Plan and execute high-impact events (online/offline) with end-to-end ownership to increase brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.

  7. Co-create donor and partner communication , including co-branded campaigns, social posts, and storytelling assets that highlight collaboration and impact.

  8. Leverage existing partnerships and build new strategic alliances that expand brand reach, distribution, and amplification.

  9. Conduct continuous industry and competitor research to stay ahead of trends in marketing, communications, and social impact storytelling.

  10. Develop leadership communication including speeches, presentations, talking points, and briefs for frequent external engagements.

  11. Ensure brand consistency and quality across all internal and external communication touchpoints.

  • 8+ years of experience in Marketing and Communications , with ownership of multi-channel brand and communication outputs.

  • Media Communications & PR , including drafting press releases, coordinating with PR agencies, and tracking media coverage/SOV.

  • Digital marketing fundamentals , including understanding funnels, reviewing analytics dashboards, coordinating with agencies, and providing optimisation inputs.

  • Social media strategy and execution , including content planning, storytelling, and platform analytics.

  • Brand and leadership communications , including decks, articles, impact stories, scripts, and presentations.

  • Event marketing & execution , with experience managing online/offline events end-to-end.

  • Familiarity with core MarCom tools , such as scheduling tools (Hootsuite/Buffer), Canva, Mailchimp/HubSpot, and basic analytics platforms.

Beneficial
  • Experience securing tier-1 media coverage and managing journalist relationships.

  • Ability to oversee creative production , working with designers, videographers, and agencies.

  • Experience running or optimising paid digital campaigns .

  • Understanding of SEO/SEM and content optimisation.

  • Exposure to marketing automation tools and email workflows.

  • Experience shaping brand identity or tone of voice .

  • Prior experience in the social sector , especially impact storytelling or CSR-facing communication.
