Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Manager Learner Retention. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead a team dedicated to supporting online learners in completing their degrees and progressing academically. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring high retention rates, enhanced learner experience, and supporting learners through their academic journey. The person will be responsible for fostering an environment of ownership, accountability while effectively managing internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of academic support professionals by setting clear performance expectations and goals for them

- Foster a collaborative and proactive team culture.

- Establish and implement quality assurance measures to evaluate the effectiveness of the team members and ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards

2. Retention Strategy:

- Develop and implement strategies to ensure high learner retention rates.

- Ensure excellent learner experience to achieve industry leading metrics for key milestones

3. Academic Support:

- Oversee the resolution of academic and non-academic queries from learners.

- Collaborate with academic advisors and faculty to address learner concerns effectively.

4. Proactive Approach:

- Identify and address potential challenges proactively to enhance the overall learner experience.

- Implement initiatives to engage learners and encourage academic progress.

5. Stakeholder Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- Collaborate with product, technology, finance, sales, and partner academic institutions to streamline processes.

6. Data Analysis:

- Utilize data and analytics to assess learner progress and identify areas for improvement.

- Implement data-driven strategies to enhance team performance and learner outcomes.

7. Continuous Improvement:

- Continuously evaluate and enhance support processes to better serve the needs of learners.

- Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate relevant advancements into the support framework.

8. Communication:

- Communicate effectively with learners, addressing concerns and providing timely updates.

- Ensure clear and transparent communication within the team and with other departments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree like BCA/BBA/BE/B.Tech from a reputed institute; Master's degree preferred.

- Proven experience in a similar role in EdTech space, with a minimum 2 years of team management experience.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and address challenges efficiently.

- Familiarity with online learning platforms and educational technologies.

- Analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
