Manager - Kubernetes Enginerring

Summary:
Kubernetes Engineer Shall be responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting container orchestration infrastructure utilizing Kubernetes (OpenShift and Tanzu). He should have experience in automating deployments, enhancing performance, and guaranteeing the reliability and scalability of containerized applications

Knowledge:
•    Working Knowledge on Redhat Openshift or VMware Tanzu Platform •    Knowledge and Experience with Kubernetes concepts, APIs, and cluster management. •    Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, containerd), orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm). •    Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD). •    Understanding of networking, distributed systems, and security best practices. •    Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). •    Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

•    Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters across various environments (cloud, hybrid, or on-premises).
•    Ensure availability, stability, scalability, and security of containerized applications managed via Kubernetes. •    Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to containerize applications and automate deployment workflows using CI/CD tools. •    Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for Kubernetes environments. •    Implement security measures and best practices, managing user access control, RBAC, networking, storage, and compliance. •    Apply best practices for resource management, high availability, and security (network policies, access controls, compliance). •    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes infrastructure, applications, and services. •    Maintain infrastructure as code, using tools like Terraform or Ansible, for automating cluster setup and application deployment. •    Document processes, maintain knowledge bases, and provide training or support to team members.
