Job Description: As a proficient Civil Engineer, your role will involve overseeing maintenance, retrofit, and new construction projects within the organization. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day civil engineering operations, ensuring compliance with Indian standards and local regulations, and coordinating with various internal departments, external contractors, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities. Key Responsibilities: - Maintenance & Operations: - Oversee maintenance and repair of building structures, including offices, utilities, and other infrastructure. - Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for longevity and safety of all civil structures. - Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve structural issues promptly. - Retrofit & Renovation Projects: - Manage and execute retrofit projects to upgrade existing structures to meet new safety standards, efficiency improvements, or functional requirements. - Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants for effective retrofit solutions. - Ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations during retrofit activities. - New Shifting & Construction Projects: - Plan and manage civil engineering aspects of existing campus, offices in Mumbai, and new branch setups (Pan India). - Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure new construction projects meet company standards and are completed on time and within budget. - Oversee repair, maintenance, relocation/shifting of facilities for a smooth transition with minimal operational impact. - Compliance & Standards: - Ensure all civil engineering activities comply with Indian standards and local regulations. - Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for construction, maintenance, and retrofit projects. - Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance, construction, and compliance activities. - Project Management: - Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for civil engineering projects. - Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets. - Implement risk assessment and mitigation strategies to minimize project risks. - Safety & Risk Management: - Implement safety protocols for a safe working environment during construction and maintenance activities. - Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards. - Provide safety training to staff on practices and emergency response procedures. - Communication & Collaboration: - Work closely with the facility management team to align civil engineering operations with facility objectives. - Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to stakeholders. - Provide technical guidance and support to other departments as needed. - Technical Support & Troubleshooting: - Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for civil engineering issues. - Analyze structural performance data and recommend improvements for building safety and functionality. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry best practices in civil engineering. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate marks from AICTE approved Institutions / Universities. - Professional Certifications: Chartered Engineer or equivalent is preferred. Additional Details: The company requires Indian citizens who are less than 38 years old as of 01-Sep-2025 to apply for the position. The initial contract term is 3 years, extendable for two terms of 1 year each based on requirements and performance. The job location is Navi Mumbai/Mumbai.
