Wonderla Holidays Ltd (Wonderla), founded in 2002, is one of the largest amusement park operators in India. It currently operates three amusement parks situated in Kochi, Bengaluru & Hyderabad under the brand name Wonderla and a resort in Bengaluru under the name Wonderla Resorts. The company commissioned its first amusement park in Kochi in 2000 (earlier known as Veegaland), the second amusement park in Bengaluru in 2005 and the third one in Hyderabad in 2016. Wonderla is opening parks in Bhuvaneswar and Chennai which is currently under construction.

Job Purpose As a Deputy / Manager - Facility, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. You will work closely with the Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities, manage staff, and ensure that the facility meets all safety, cleanliness, and operational standards. Your attention to detail, leadership skills, and ability to problem-solve will be essential in maintaining a productive and efficient environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Facility Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the facility, including maintenance, repairs, and cleanliness.
• Staff Management: Supervise facility staff, including janitorial, maintenance, and security personnel. Delegate tasks, provide training, and ensure that all staff members adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
• Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the facility budget. Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure that expenditures are within budgetary constraints. • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility maintenance and repairs. Obtain quotes, negotiate contracts, and ensure that work is completed satisfactorily and within budget.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure that the facility meets all safety regulations and compliance standards. Conduct regular inspections,
address any safety concerns, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans for the facility. Coordinate drills, train staff on emergency procedures, and ensure that emergency equipment is maintained and accessible.
• Facility Improvement Projects: Identify opportunities for facility improvement and efficiency enhancement. Collaborate with the Facility Manager to develop and implement improvement projects, such as energy conservation initiatives or space optimization efforts.
• Tenant Relations: Maintain positive relationships with tenants and address any facility-related issues or concerns promptly and professionally. Act as a liaison between tenants and management to ensure that their needs are met.
