Role & responsibilities

1. Understanding of the fabric of shoes and technologies, properties, and their applications.

2. Knowledge and experience of dealing with national and international

Manufacturers of quality materials

Sourcing & Procurement:

1. Expertise in cost-effective sourcing of high-quality fabrics and yarns from reliable suppliers.

2. High level of Ability to negotiate contracts, agreements, prices, and terms effectively.

Market Analysis:

1. Ability to conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends.

2. Skills in analyzing market data to make informed purchasing decisions.

Negotiation, Communication & Collaboration Skills :

1. Strong Negotiation and communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.

2. Ability to collaborate with design, production, and finance teams.

Analytical Skills:

1. Proficiency in analyzing the data and trends to ensure the right procurement decisions.

2. Skills in using procurement and inventory management software. (ERP)

KRA (SMART)

1. Cost Savings: Reduce Shoe fabric procurement costs by negotiating better deals with suppliers and achieve a reduction in cost as per the Quality Standard.

2. Ensure the BOM management system to reduce the cost and enhance working capital.

3. Quality Improvement: Enhance the quality of sourced fabrics as per best International market standards.

4. Vendor Development and Management: Focus on vendor Development and management and retain the A and B Class Vendor at a 100% rate.

Preferred candidate profile

5. Having experience with coated fabrics, microfibers, and accessories for the footwear, luggage & apparel industry

6. Footwear / Luggage /Apparel / Gloves or equivalent Industry Candidates will be preferred

7. 5 + Years leading the procurement of Shoe Fabric materials independently
