Role & responsibilities Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures Ensure quality is maintained throughout the entire design and manufacturing process Carry out regular inspections and monitoring activities across all footwear production sites Evaluate suppliers and ensure materials and products meet desired quality standards Perform root cause analysis and work with corrective actions to effectively prevent any future quality issues Stay up to date with changing trends and developments in quality control and monitor customer feedback to ensure customer satisfaction Implement continuous improvement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs Provide feedback and training to staff in order to ensure consistency and accuracy in quality control Daily perform in-line inspection for monitoring procedure of products. Work on root cause analysis and action plan with SP for all quality issues are caught on lines. In the meanwhile, report it to manager. Approve Packing Instruction for all new styles and updated PI for flat packing. To follow up weak area which called out in walkthrough report and push SP to improve, Conduct IQC audit to audit factory IQC process. Train factory QC and certified them as needs of production volume. Follow up Root Cause analysis and action plan for all returned defective shoes. Manage to get correct TOL sample sent from Production all need to be documented, Daily Fitting to be followed and documented, Daily production plan to be followed and documented, Daily Testing to be followed and documented, Working on effective packaging with all SCM and Costing when needed Work out the daily routine and align to manager for all issues and potential issues, Preferred candidate profile Oversee qualitycontrol processes for footwear production, ensuring compliance with brand standards. Develop and implement quality assurance policies to maintain product consistency and reliability. Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products for defects or deviations from specifications. Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to address quality issues and improve production methods. Conduct factory audits to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and ethical standards. Analyze customer feedback and returns to identify recurring defects and implement corrective actions. Train and guide production teams on quality standards, testing procedures, and best practices. Monitor testing processes (durability, fit, comfort, etc.) to validate product performance. Prepare quality reports for management, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. - **Ensure quality standards** are met at every stage of footwear production (cutting, stitching, lasting, assembly, finishing). - **Inspect leather, textiles, soles, and components** for defects before production begins.
