Job Description

Role & responsibilities


Profile and responsible for following areas:

A) Talent Hiring (Recruitment of Apprentice and NAPS Trainees)

Manpower Planning in coordination with IEE department (Pertaining to Diploma Trainees)

Organising Pool and campus recruitment drives and Coordination the

Actively engage in Brand building activities in polytechnic campus.

Compensation Management for Trainees

Maintaining good relationships with Polytechnic Colleges Placement Officers

Ensuing On-Boarding of trainees.

Maintaining good relationships with Board of Apprenticeship Officials


B) Life cycle Management:

Completing joining formalities, system hiring,, On-boarding & issuing letters

Timely completion of continuations & separation process

Engagement Activities & Rewards & Recognition for Diploma Trainees

Establishment Management for employees


C) Payroll processing and Statutory Compliance

Benchmarking of salary and wages and proactive identification of initiatives /Opportunities to optimize the wage cost

Implementation of LTS terms and condition

Manpower cost analysis & HR Analytics

Ensuring the smooth function of payroll function and managing team effectively

Ensuring compliance of laws and regulations for all operations

Ensure 100% statutory compliances other than time office related compliances.


D) Liaisoning with Government agencies and Coordination

Liaisoning with Labour Office, ESIC, PF office, PT office, Labour Department, etc

Liaisoning with Government Apprentice Board

E) Employees Engagement drive:

Working closely with DH’s & Shop floor Managers for better deployment, engagement & harmony

Driving R & R initiatives

Driving various Engagement Initiatives

Implementation of engagement survey, its analysis of data, action planning and implementation of initiatives

Monitoring and tracking changes in the external industrial relations environment.


F) Employee Relations Management:

Ensure peaceful and disciplined industrial relations in the Company

Implementation of drives for Vigilance and Improving the connect with employees

Maintaining discipline and Maintaining Industrial Peace & Harmony

Engagement Initiatives for Cell Members

Ensuring shop floor Discipline & Disciplinary Management

Execution of disciplinary process of various nature (including employee misconduct and fraud etc)

Act in an advisory capacity to identify and help employee relation managers

Ensuring employee raised disputes in courts are handled sensitively while protecting the company’s interest.

G) Training and Development

Preparing the training Ensuring Dexterity Training for all the employees is imparted before deploying on shop floor

Driving the Capability Building initiatives including identification of training needs, developing training calendar, skill building initiatives, etc.

Measuring Effectiveness of Capability Building initiatives
