Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Oversee the preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings and risk management.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company's operations and finances.
Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to provide strategic tax planning support on various business initiatives.
Lead tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities, ensuring comprehensive documentation and representation.
Prepare and present reports on tax matters to senior management and stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

CA Completion Mandatory.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in direct and indirect taxation, preferably within the luxury goods or retail sectors.
Strong understanding of local and international tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proven experience in tax planning and risk management, with a focus on strategic insights.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
