Manager- Data Engineering

As a Manager- Data Engineering (Lead Data Architect) at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing client projects within the Data Engineering domain. With over 8 years of experience, including at least 5 years in a client-facing role, you will leverage your expertise to solve complex business problems using traditional and modern data engineering technologies. Your responsibilities will include client engagement, project management, technical leadership, team development, data governance, and business development. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary contact for clients, understanding their needs and translating them into technical solutions and project plans. - Oversee multiple data engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget. - Lead the design and deployment of scalable data architectures tailored to client requirements. - Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a high-performance culture. - Implement data governance frameworks and ensure data quality standards are met. - Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and identifying new opportunities. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in a relevant field. - 8 to 12 years of data engineering experience. - Minimum 3 years in a managerial role within consulting or professional services. - At least 5 years of experience in leading and managing a client portfolio in Data Engineering. - Strong understanding of data architecture and core technical concepts. - Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a client-service mindset.
