Manager - Costing & MIS

As a Cost Accountant, your primary responsibility is to manage product costing, budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, reconciliation, profit analysis, variance analysis, cost audit, compliance, and SAP CO module management. You play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely product costing by incorporating material, labour, and overhead costs. This involves analyzing and validating cost estimates, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and routings to maintain updated standard costing. - Manage product costing, budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, reconciliation, profit analysis, variance analysis, cost audit, compliance, and SAP CO module management. - Analyze and validate cost estimates, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and routings to maintain updated standard costing. - Prepare and coordinate annual and monthly budgets, monitor actual performance against budget, and assist in rolling forecasts based on business inputs. - Design and implement dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for performance tracking. - Provide timely and accurate monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports. - Reconcile accounting profit with costing profit, support month-end closing activities related to cost accounting, and perform detailed variance analysis for material, labour, and overhead costs. - Identify root causes for variances, coordinate with respective departments for explanations, and ensure proper accounting/posting of variances in SAP. To excel in this role, you should hold an ICWA qualification and possess over 10 years of post-qualification experience. Your expertise in cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, reconciliation, variance analysis, cost audit, compliance, and SAP CO module management will be instrumental in contributing to the financial health and performance of the organization.,
