As an Issue Management professional, you will play a pivotal role in reinforcing the organization s risk governance framework within the Finance Business Unit (BU). Your work will directly contribute to enhancing operational resilience and maintaining compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory expectations. You will serve as a trusted partner to business leaders, risk, and compliance teams to ensure that issues and operational risk events are identified, remediated, and closed in a timely and sustainable manner.

Lead the Issue Management Lifecycle:
Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of issues from identification and documentation through root cause analysis, remediation planning, and closure. Ensure all activities align with enterprise expectations for rigor and sustainability.

Enable Effective Risk Event Remediation:
Support documentation and remediation of Operational Risk Events (OREs), ensuring timely and accurate capture of information in the GRC risk management system.

Facilitate Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner closely with business unit teams, second line of defense (2LoD) partners, Compliance, and Internal Audit to ensure alignment on issue remediation priorities and escalation protocols.

Champion a Culture of Accountability and Continuous Improvement:
Promote transparency, accountability, and risk awareness across the Finance BU. Identify opportunities to streamline issue management processes and reporting through automation, digital tools, and process optimization.

Strengthen Governance and Oversight:
Maintain and enhance oversight frameworks to ensure adherence to enterprise risk policies and issue management standards. Support governance routines, oversight committees, and leadership reporting with high-quality materials and insights.
Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the risk and control domain, with a strong understanding of issue management programs, governance frameworks, and operational risk processes.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization.

Execution and Delivery: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven capability to work independently and in collaboration with process owners to analyze breakdowns, perform root cause assessments, and design sustainable remediation strategies.
