Description
As a Continuous Improvement person at CIRCOR Industrial in Coimbatore, India, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing site improvement projects using Lean & Six-Sigma methodologies to achieve the strategic objectives of the business. Your responsibilities will include leading the Business Units continuous improvement efforts, partnering with site & group leadership to drive a culture of operational excellence, and providing hands-on training to associates on Lean manufacturing tools. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, manage, and direct the overall continuous improvement program and activities of the company. - Implement the CIRCOR Operating System (COS) at the site to achieve the highest level of Excellence. - Develop a problem-solving culture across the organization and create Hoshin Kanri strategic planning tool for company-wide objectives. - Coordinate the deployment of Lean and Six Sigma methods for value creation and waste elimination. - Analyze gaps in achieving goals, coach team members, and provide training in support of continuous improvement objectives. - Manage budget, cost, schedule, and rate of return for continuous improvement activities within the division. Qualifications Required: - Strong leadership ability and presence in a team matrix organization. - Positive and upbeat personality with high ethical standards and excellent communication skills. - Strong project and budget management skills with a focus on results/goal orientation. - Demonstrated lean manufacturing and improvement strategy development experience. - Expert knowledge of Excel and proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Project, and other applicable tools. - EH&S experience with regulatory knowledge and experience in conducting audits and implementing EH&S management systems. - Graduate degree in Engineering/Technology, preferably Mechanical, with Lean/Six Sigma Black-belt certification and 15+ years of progressive materials, manufacturing, and operations team leadership experience. - Good understanding of financial measurements and goals.
