Manager Consulting Delivery

Position DescriptionAt CGI, we are seeking an experienced IT Delivery Manager to lead the Linga project portfolio, managing end-to-end delivery across development, support, and release management streams. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery governance capabilities to ensure high-quality and timely execution aligned with client expectations.As part of CGI's global delivery organization, you will work closely with onshore and offshore teams, clients, and cross-functional groups to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement in service delivery.Job Title: Manager Consulting DeliveryLocation: ChennaiExperience: 12+ yearsPosition Type: Full-timeCategory: Project Management / IT Service DeliveryYour future duties and responsibilitiesLead and manage end-to-end delivery of Linga applications and services across multiple functional areas.Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to quality, schedule, and budget commitments.Drive release management, incident resolution, and production stability.Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical leads to define delivery scope and priorities.Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations effectively, ensuring proactive issue resolution.Provide delivery governance, including dashboards, KPIs, and regular project status updates to senior management.Lead and mentor team members, ensuring skill development and high performance.Ensure compliance with CGI's delivery framework, quality standards, and client SLAs.Coordinate across CGI internal teams and external vendors for integrated delivery.Drive process improvement and automation initiatives for enhanced efficiency.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in a delivery or program management role.
• Strong understanding of IT service delivery frameworks, SDLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience managing multi-technology environments and distributed teams.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and handle delivery escalations.
• Exposure to tools such as Jira, Clarizen, ServiceNow, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Experience in managing P&L including revenue, margins, utilization.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in Manufacturing or Retail domain, particularly in POS
• Exposure to cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Prior experience working in a global delivery model (onshore–offshore).
