Job Description

Responsible for managing bids in response to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and proactive pursuits for business. This role involves coordinating to create compelling proposals that ensure compliance with client requirements while effectively maintaining Bansal Roofing Products value proposition. The Manager - Client Services will work closely with Service Line Heads and Regional Business Development leads to bring a strategic approach to design proposals/pitches and win bids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for complete end-to-end presales & bid management support, proposal writing and management (RFP/RFI/RFQs).
  • Creating synopsis for various proposals, setting initial meetings for proposals, performing RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed) matrix for the bid for mapping tasks to various stakeholders, attending all client bid meetings & maintaining business relationships.
  • Lead solution detailing and articulation process while responding to opportunities.
  • Understand the problem statement (RFP/RFI) by identifying missing information and framing appropriate queries to obtain necessary details from relevant stakeholders.
  • Creating and managing a centralized repository for all bids/proposals/capability presentations and references, as well as all business development material such as case studies, collaterals etc.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and strong articulation of solutions (response to RFPs/RFIs/bids etc.) to ensure completeness of the bid process in a timely manner.
  • Act as a reference point / SME (Subject Matter Expert) within the Business Development team.
  • Own client presentations by laying the framework and generating top-notch presentations in coordination with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Understand market trends and their relevance in order to seed appropriate new offerings.
  • Support the Business Development team to manage client visits for large and complex deals.
  • Lead all day-to-day aspects of a bid/proposal, including estimating, planning, submissions functions, and coordination with operational BD team members and other subject matter experts, with responsibility for submitting a complete proposal, on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and ensure strong support to deliver a successful bid/proposal, with a clear understanding of the win strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a program, with clear key dates and actions for bid generation.
  • Ensure all meetings and review dates for bids are clearly set out and attended, and follow up on various stakeholders for agreed actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or communication or PGDM / MBA in Construction.
