We are seeking a Manager to lead the FMCG vertical for a B2B e- commerce platform. You will operate as a business owner, managing the P&L and drivinggrowth through strategic assortment, sharp buying, and data-led execution.
Key Responsibilities:

. E-commerce Category Management (Strategy & P&L)
P&L Ownership: Own the end-to-end category performance, driving GMV growth while strictly monitoring Gross Margins and Net Profitability.
Platform Strategy: Curate the "winning assortment" specific to B2B retailer needs and execute on-app merchandising (banners, visibility) to maximize conversion and basket sizes.
Pricing & Growth: Implement dynamic pricing strategies to remain competitive in the market without bleeding margin.

Strategic Buying & Sourcing
Vendor Management: Source and onboard key manufacturers and suppliers to build a robust supply chain.
Negotiations: Drive aggressive negotiations on trade terms, margins, and credit cycles to optimize working capital.
Fill Rates: Ensure high fill rates and consistent availability by aligning procurement with operational capabilities.

FMCG Domain Expertise
Market Intelligence: Leverage deep knowledge of General Trade (GT) dynamics, commodity trends, and seasonality to anticipate demand.
Trend Spotting: Proactively identify new product launches and fast-moving SKUs to keep the platform relevant.
4. Analytics & Planning
Forecasting: Use historical data to predict inventory requirements, minimizing bothstock-outs and non-moving inventory (aging stock).
Daily Execution: Track core metrics (Inventory Days, Fill Rate, CM) daily and course-correct immediately.
Candidate Profile:
Experience: 2-6 years in E-commerce Category Management, B2B Retail, or FMCG Buying.
Skills: Strong P&L fluency, negotiation skills, and advanced Excel/SQL.
Education: MBA from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 institute preferred
