Job Title: Manager Category Management (FMCG)

Role Summary: We are seeking a Manager to lead the FMCG vertical for a B2B e- commerce platform. You will operate as a business owner, managing the P&L and drivinggrowth through strategic assortment, sharp buying, and data-led execution.

Key Responsibilities

. E-commerce Category Management (Strategy & P&L)

? P&L Ownership: Own the end-to-end category performance, driving GMV growth while strictly monitoring Gross Margins and Net Profitability.? Platform Strategy: Curate the winning assortment specific to B2B retailer needs and execute on-app merchandising (banners, visibility) to maximize conversion and basket sizes.? Pricing & Growth: Implement dynamic pricing strategies to remain competitive in the market without bleeding margin.

• Strategic Buying & Sourcing
  

? Vendor Management: Source and onboard key manufacturers and suppliers to build a robust supply chain.
? Negotiations: Drive aggressive negotiations on trade terms, margins, and creditcycles to optimize working capital.? Fill Rates: Ensure high fill rates and consistent availability by aligning procurement with operational capabilities.

• FMCG Domain Expertise
  

? Market Intelligence: Leverage deep knowledge of General Trade (GT) dynamics, commodity trends, and seasonality to anticipate demand.
? Trend Spotting: Proactively identify new product launches and fast-moving SKUs to keep the platform relevant.

• Analytics & Planning
  

? Forecasting: Use historical data to predict inventory requirements, minimizing bothstock-outs and non-moving inventory (aging stock).? Daily Execution: Track core metrics (Inventory Days, Fill Rate, CM) daily andcourse-correct immediately.

Candidate Profile

? Experience: 26 years in E-commerce Category Management, B2B Retail, or FMCG Buying.? Skills: Strong P&L fluency, negotiation skills, and advanced Excel/SQL.?
