About The Right Vendor (TRV)

The Right Vendor (TRV) is a fast-growing B2B platform helping SMEs—especially restaurants and local businesses—reduce procurement costs, improve supplier access, and strengthen their online reputation.

We operate across two core offerings:

  • TRV Bidding System – A smart procurement platform where restaurants post requirements and suppliers bid competitively, reducing costs and improving visibility.
  • TRV SME Services – SaaS solutions including automated Google review responses, in-store feedback collection, and structured review growth programs.

We are now expanding our on-ground sales team to drive adoption across SME clusters.

Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new SME clients by engaging directly with business owners, understanding their operational challenges, and pitching the right TRV solutions.

This is a high-impact, field-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys meeting business owners, closing deals, and growing recurring revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard SMEs (restaurants, clinics, retail stores, service businesses) onto TRV’s platforms
  • Pitch and close sales for:
  • TRV’s Bidding & Procurement System
  • TRV’s SME SaaS services (Review automation, feedback systems, review growth)
  • Conduct on-site visits, product demos, and onboarding sessions
  • Understand client needs and recommend custom service bundles
  • Drive monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with SME decision-makers
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and service delivery
  • Track leads, follow-ups, and closures using CRM or internal tools
  • Provide on-ground market feedback to improve products and sales strategy

Who We’re Looking For

  • 1–4 years of experience in B2B sales, field sales, or SME business development
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable speaking to business owners and decision-makers
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently
  • Basic understanding of SaaS, marketplaces, or digital tools (training provided)
  • Willingness to travel locally and meet clients in person
  • Prior experience selling to restaurants or SMEs is a strong plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
