Job Summary

The Reporting / Data Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to support business decision-making. The role involves managing sales data, conducting advanced analysis, supporting the sales team, and ensuring accuracy in MIS reporting and reconciliation. The analyst will also provide training on analytical tools and drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency across functions.

Key Responsibilities

A. Insight & Employee Performance Analysis

• Provide advanced day-to-day analysis to management.
• Conduct outlet performance analysis and deliver insights to sales teams.
• Perform geographical analysis to identify potential areas based on past performance and competitor retailing.
• Deliver high-visualization insights on retailing to management and sales teams.
• Train sales teams and management on advanced Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.

B. MIS

• Handle primary & secondary sales data (SAP & Field Assist – SFA).
• Coordinate with PPC and production teams for order prioritization and timely completion.
• Liaise with finance, sales, and other functions to ensure timely shipment of orders.
• Calculate and process QPS and NPL schemes.
• Manage product pricing.
• Oversee outlet distribution, route (beat), and customer master data for secondary sales.

C. Sales Team Support

• Manage approx. 1100 users, providing direct training, beat mapping, and customer mapping.
• Handle retailing master data (~700,000 outlets), tracking performance, scheme claims, and QPS claims.
• Manage user route mapping and customer mapping.
• Monitor KPIs such as attendance, tour programs, scheduled calls, productive calls, retailing time, and OVC compliance.

Skills & Qualifications

• Expertise in data mining and analysis.
• Strong experience with report automation and extracting data from multiple sources.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines.
• Strong interest in metrics, reporting, and BI standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and self-starter attitude.
• Strong team player with flexibility and dedication.
• Ability to streamline and automate data collection and presentation.
• Experience in documenting data flows and mappings for data warehouse/reporting layers.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data visualization best practices.

Technical Experience

• SAP, Navigation, Tally
• SFA tools: Bizom, FieldAssist, Sales Dairy
• Tableau, Power BI
• Advanced Excel (Power Query, DAX functions)

Educational / Computer Qualification

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Business, or related field.
• Certified expertise in analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL preferred).
