We are currently seeking applications for the position of Manager / Assistant Manager in Risk Oversight and Challenge. As a Consumer Risk subject matter expert, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the appropriateness of existing controls and monitoring activities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that necessary controls are fully and timely executed to mitigate risks in alignment with standards, policies, and procedures. This role encompasses enterprise-wide activities and is not restricted to a specific country or region. Your responsibilities will involve actively participating in strategic and tactical planning discussions with client executives, providing suggestions to address problem statements, and opining on the adequacy of key controls for project deliverables. You will also be required to set up meetings, work closely with project managers, and conduct walkthrough meetings to ensure effective execution of controls. Additionally, generating ad-hoc reports as per client requirements will be part of your duties. Qualifications we seek in you include experience in Consumer Risk Management, a degree in finance or equivalent with Retail Banking experience, and a good understanding of Risk Framework, standards, policies, and procedures. Preferred qualifications/skills include proficiency in Advance Excel with Basic macro knowledge, PowerPoint presentation skills, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, multi-tasking abilities, and problem-solving skills. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build strong working relationships with the team, peers, and clients. While not mandatory, it would be advantageous to have knowledge in Base SAS, SQL, Python, and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
