Manager - Battery (NPD)

As a Battery System Design and Development Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and development of new battery systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the design and development of new battery systems focusing on high-performance and scalable technologies. - Overseeing the complete product lifecycle from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements. - Driving innovation in battery technologies by exploring new materials, systems, and methods to improve efficiency, energy storage, and sustainability. - Managing multiple NPD projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope through cross-functional collaboration. - Ensuring battery systems meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards while maintaining high-quality standards. - Leading, mentoring, and managing a dynamic team of engineers, designers, and technicians within the NPD department. - Working closely with senior management to define strategic direction for new product development and allocating resources effectively. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven track record in R&D and battery systems development with at least 1 MWh capacity. - Strong knowledge of battery chemistry, thermal management, electrical systems, and control mechanisms. - Proficiency in CAD software, simulation tools, and prototype testing methods. - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving collaborative initiatives.
