Job Description

Job Title: Manager / Assistant Manager HR

Department

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Management

Responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for all employees.
Validate attendance, leave, and overtime data for payroll input.
Coordinate with finance and HODs for payroll-related process.
Ensure timely salary disbursements, reimbursements and incentive payouts.
Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies.

Statutory Compliance

Ensure compliance with all labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Bonus Act, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.).
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns.
Liaise with government authorities on inspections and audits.
Keep updated with changes in labor laws and recommend necessary HR policy changes.

HR Generalist Responsibilities

Assist in recruitment and onboarding.
Maintain employee records and ensure HRMS data accuracy.
Take care of performance management and appraisal processes.
Manage positive employee relationship.
Prepare HR MIS reports and dashboards as required by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration.
6–10 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in Mfg, Retail, or FMCG sectors.
Strong working knowledge of payroll software (GreytHR, Keka, Saral, TruHR etc).
Hands-on experience in statutory compliance and labor law compliance.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Excel and HRIS systems.
