Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and technically sound Sourcing Professional to manage procurement of plastics, polymers, and additives. The role involves identifying suppliers, negotiating prices, managing contracts, and ensuring consistent availability of high-quality raw materials.The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of engineering polymer compounds&PP compounds (Glass filled & Talc filled) good supplier relationships, and a strong commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure polymer compounds & PP compounds from domestic suppliers.
• Develop and manage a reliable vendor network for consistent and quality supply.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers in line with company goals.
• Track markettrends and polymer price movements to make informed purchase decisions.
• Ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and documentation for all materials.
• Identify and develop alternate or recycled material sources to support sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain supplier performance records, purchase dashboards, and cost tracking reports.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10-15 years of experience in sourcing or procurement of engineering plastics or polymer raw materials.
• Strong understanding of all polymer materials (PA, ABS, PC, PBT, POM, PP and blends).
• Experience in vendor development, negotiation, and cost optimization.
• Knowledge of polymer market trends and pricing indices.
• Bachelors degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Management.
• Exposure to recycled or sustainable material sourcing is a plus.
