A. Product Development Understand customer requirements and formalize them accurately. Plan and prioritize development jobs based on urgency and feasibility. Coordinate development trials with Vendor, Plant, Lab, and QC. Identify closest shade matches and document findings. Manage vendor redevelopments with clear technical briefs. Track development progress, maintain logs, and update records. Arrange and monitor sample dispatches to relevant stakeholders. Collect internal feedback and ensure timely closure of actions. Prepare concise development summaries and trial reports. B. Purchase & Vendor Coordination Obtain quotations and clarify technical/commercial aspects with vendors. Evaluate suppliers and recommend options based on quality and cost. Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and terms within delegated limits. Raise and track Purchase Requisitions and Orders; ensure clear terms. Follow up for order confirmation, production, and dispatch. Coordinate with Stores, QC, and Accounts for material receipt and inspection. Maintain vendor database and track performance metrics. Support management with preliminary costing and commercial inputs. Ensure timely availability of materials for development and production.
