Job Description

Position : Manager Accounts & Finance for Hotel & Restaurant industry

Location : Guindy

Qualification : CA Inter ( Must )

Experience : Minimum 5 Years as a Manager Accounts & Finance

CTC : Maximum gross up to 9.20 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Reporting:

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
    • Oversee financial audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Develop financial models to forecast revenues, expenses, and cash flow for budgeting and decision-making.
  2. Accounts Management:

    • Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and financial reporting.
    • Manage accounts receivable and payable functions, including vendor management.
    • Supervise day-to-day accounting transactions and general ledger reconciliation.
  3. Taxation and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with Direct and Indirect Tax regulations, including GST and Income Tax.
    • Filing of statutory returns, including TDS, GST, PF, ESI, and other regulatory filings.
    • Liaise with government authorities and external auditors to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
  4. Cost Management:

    • Monitor company costs and suggest cost-reduction strategies.
    • Oversee the costing and pricing of products/services.
  5. Treasury and Cash Flow Management:

    • Manage cash flow planning and ensure the availability of funds as needed.
    • Oversee treasury functions, including investments, loans, and working capital management.
  6. Internal Controls:

    • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
    • Ensure adherence to corporate governance and risk management practices.
  7. Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide guidance for skill development.

Required Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
  • Expertise in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems).
  • Strong understanding of taxation laws, compliance regulations, and statutory filings.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in handling financial operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Tamil Nadu state-specific tax laws and compliance.
