Role objective:-

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Assist in achieving branch sales targets for insurance products (life).
  • Build distribution
  • Design Go to Market strategy for bringing New to Aviva customer and deepen the relationship with existing customers
  • Learn and support recruitment of insurance advisors/agents under your branch.
  • Guide, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals.
  • Develop a strong understanding of various insurance products and market trends.
  • Participate in customer acquisition and lead-generation campaigns.
  • Support branch-level operations and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Track sales performance and provide reports to senior management.
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, and reviews as part of management training.

2. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and manage a team of Sales Managers (Sales Managers) and Business Development Managers (BDMs).
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance sales skills and business acumen.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through ongoing training, motivation, and performance management.
  • Coach and guide the team to ensure that the right & ethical practices for Sales and focus on customer interest.

3. Operational & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to internal processes, company policies, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., IRDAI).

  • Manage audits and ensure all records and documentation are maintained accurately.
  • Monitor risk and implement controls to ensure business quality and persistency.

4. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Conduct regular market analysis to understand competitor activities, customer trends, and local dynamics.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on performance metrics, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree (mandatory); MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification, Only immediate joiner preferred.

Experience:

  • Freshers / Candidates with 0-2 years of experience- candidates with any internship or project work in sales, marketing, or insurance is a plus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to take initiative and learn quickly
  • Basic understanding of sales principles
  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools
  • Goal-oriented and ready to work in a target-driven environment
