Key Responsibilities

Master Data Management

  • Create, update, and maintain Item Master in NAV (product codes, descriptions, categories, pack sizes, etc.).
  • Maintain and update vendor master data, including pricing and other key attributes.
  • Record and regularly update transit days for DCvendor combinations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency by running regular validations and checks.
  • Support resolution of data-related issues in collaboration with sourcing, planning and purchase team.

MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare and publish daily planning reports for operations and supply chain teams.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports/scorecards covering KPIs (supply chain, vendor performance, inventory, and service levels).
  • Consolidate data from multiple sources and ensure timely availability of MIS to management.
  • Automate and simplify reporting formats in Excel / NAV / Power BI for efficiency.
  • Support ad-hoc data and reporting requirements from management.

Process Support & Coordination

  • Maintain proper documentation of changes in item master and pricing.
  • Support internal audits and compliance requirements by providing accurate data.
  • Suggest improvements in data entry and reporting processes to minimize errors and manual work.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred).
  • Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formatting; macros knowledge is an advantage).

  • Ability to handle large data sets and maintain high accuracy.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills to work with multiple teams.
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven mindset.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, IT, or related fields.
  • 13 years of experience in Master Data Management / MIS / Reporting in FMCG, Manufacturing, or related industries.
