Maintenance, Reliability & Utility Engineer

Core Responsibilities:

Utility Management:

• Oversee daily operations of utilities including HVAC, compressed air systems,boilers, chillers,water treatment plants, and electrical distribution.
• Monitor utility consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and environmental regulations.

Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance:

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all plant equipment and utility systems.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment history.

Project Execution & Equipment Installation:

• Support installation and commissioning of new utility systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for project execution.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance-related CAPEX projects.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety protocols and company standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation for audits and inspections.

Team Coordination & Training:

• Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Conduct training sessions on equipment handling and safety practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and reliability.

Engineering Purchasing:

• Manage total purchasing for maintenance-related materials, oversee store operations, and ensure minimum stock levels are maintained.

AutoCAD Drawing Work:

· Prepare, update, and manage all engineering drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.

Vendor & Contractor Coordination:

· Handle outside parties/vendors for maintenance services, repairs, and project execution.

Routine Operations & Material Handling:

· Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities and ensure timely availability and handling of required materials.

Team Motivation & Supervision:

· Lead and motivate subordinates including fitters, helpers, and other support staff to ensure high performance and safety.

Engineering Documentation:

Maintain all documentation related to the engineering department including maintenance logs, compliance records, and audit files.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
