Key Responsibilities: Supervising and leading: A maintenance manager directs the work of maintenance staff, assigns tasks, and ensures they have the necessary resources and training. Planning and scheduling: They create and implement maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and manage work orders to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance. Budget management: A maintenance manager oversees the maintenance budget, tracks expenses, and ensures efficient use of resources. Ensuring safety and compliance: They implement and enforce safety procedures, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., OSHA). Preventive maintenance: They develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns and extend the lifespan of assets.
