Functional Parameters:

Maintenance Department Management: Oversee and manage the entire

maintenance department at the plant (for In-charge role).

Maintenance Execution: Ensure scheduled, preventive, and breakdown maintenance

is carried out efficiently for all machinery and equipment.

Hands-on Maintenance: Personally handle and supervise mechanical and electrical

maintenance tasks as needed.

Downtime Minimization: Coordinate with the production team to ensure minimum

downtime and high equipment availability.

Record Keeping & Safety: Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure

safety protocols are followed.

Vendor Coordination: Work closely with vendors and contractors when required for

equipment servicing.

Machinery & Equipment Involvement: The factory includes concrete block

production machinery (automatic and semi-automatic systems including vibropresses,

hydraulic presses, mixers, and batching plants involving mechanical, hydraulic,

pneumatic, and electrical systems) and automotive and site equipment (forklifts, tractor

loaders, JCBs, DG sets, etc.).

Fundamental Parameters:

Experience: Strong hands-on experience with industrial machinery in a manufacturing

environment.

Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related

field.

Location: Bagodara, Ahmedabad.

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and industry standards.

Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Works/Plant Manager.

Preference: Previous experience in managing or coordinating a maintenance team is

preferred (for In-charge role).

Core Competencies / Special Skills Required:

Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Proactive and responsible approach to maintenance.

Ability to lead a small team effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills for breakdown scenarios.

Attention to detail for preventive maintenance.

Commitment to safety protocols.
