Job Description

Role Overview: As a Maintenance Engineer at Siemens Energy's GIS factory in Aurangabad, your main responsibility will be to ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory compliances on machine maintenance. You will guide and drive your team's performance to meet operational requirements and sustain the manufacturing capability of GIS within the organization's limits. Your role will play a crucial part in improving lives, furthering human achievements, and protecting the climate. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular plant rounds - Prepare guidelines and SOPs for breakdown situations - Implement contingency plans for operations continuation during breakdowns - Review and analyze variance of plan vs actual machine performance - Conduct root cause analysis of each breakdown - Prepare and communicate performance reports on machine downtime - Manage a team of contract employees for day-to-day maintenance operations - Prepare preventive maintenance schedule for equipment - Ensure compliance of maintenance team to the schedule - Identify common reasons and areas of breakdown and address through preventive maintenance - Conduct periodic checking and review of critical machine spares - Prepare SOP & HIRA, ISO documents of maintenance function - Communicate with vendors and production team Qualifications Required: - Education: B.E (Electrical or Mechanical) - Relevant Experience: 4-8 years in Maintenance of MHE, EOT cranes, PLC, SPM - Business Understanding: Understanding of equipment maintenance and operations Additional Details: Siemens Energy is dedicated to equality and diversity, making employment decisions based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
