Install, upgrade, maintain, and customize z/OS Communications Server products including VTAM and TCP/IP, as well as other IBM and OEM networking products. Perform system programming tasks using SMP/E, REXX, Assembler, and JCL. Proactively monitor the mainframe network and related software to prevent issues and optimize performance. Enhance monitoring capabilities and increase automation where feasible. Maintain a robust and resilient network configuration and support Disaster Recovery (DR) testing from a network perspective. Assist users in analyzing and resolving connectivity and performance issues. Provide day-to-day support for mainframe networking and associated products. Primary Skills Strong expertise in Mainframe Network AdministrationVTAM, TCP/IP, JES2, HCD, WLM Proficient in z/OS System Programming with SMP/E Scripting and automation using REXX, Assembler, and JCL Proven experience in troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues in z/OS environments
