Job Summary

The Technical Lead role is pivotal in driving the success of our projects by leveraging expertise in IBM Mainframe Utilities DB2 and Cobol. With a hybrid work model and day shifts the role offers a balanced work-life environment. The candidate will be instrumental in ensuring seamless project execution and will contribute significantly to the companys objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of solutions using IBM Mainframe Utilities to optimize system performance.
Oversee the development and maintenance of applications utilizing DB2 to ensure data integrity and reliability.
Provide technical guidance in Cobol programming to enhance application functionality and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with business objectives and deliver impactful results.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain operational excellence.
Develop comprehensive documentation for system processes and procedures to support ongoing maintenance and training.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications to drive project success.
Implement best practices in software development to ensure high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to foster team growth and skill enhancement.
Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

Possess strong expertise in IBM Mainframe Utilities demonstrating the ability to optimize system operations.
Have extensive experience with DB2 showcasing proficiency in managing and maintaining databases.
Exhibit advanced skills in Cobol programming contributing to efficient application development.
Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities ensuring quick resolution of technical challenges.
Show effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
