Job Title: Application Support Engineer Job Details Experience Required: 1-3 years Location: Bangalore Work Mode : Hybrid Shift timing : Rotational shift Mandatory Skills: ISPF Menu, Programming Language - Cobol, Scripting Language - JCL, File - VSAM, GDG, Scheduling Tool - Control-M, Insync/File Aid, Database - DB2, File transfer protocol - FTP, Network Data Movement - NDM Job Description Proficient in COBOL programming language, JCL Scripting Language, File - VSAM , Database- DB2 , GDG , Scheduling Tool - Control-M/CA7 , FTP & NDM. Flexible to work in 24/7 support for any issue in the production and able to deliver tasks with minimal support. Responsible for managing defined SLA. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues in production environments. Responsible for Managing day to day service desk tickets also be proficient in handling Tier 2/3 tickets. Introducing a support knowledge Base including creation of support documents. Must be self-motivated, pro-active individual. Should have good analytical skills and good verbal and written communication skills to understand the requirement. Desired Candidate Profile 1-3 years of experience in Mainframe application Support or similar role. Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong understanding of application support principles and practices. Proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines. Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexible to work in rotational shifts.
