Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Centre Operation Technician to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data centre operations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibility

Monitor and maintain the health of the data centre infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data centre operations.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of data centre services with other AWS offerings.
Develop and implement processes to improve data centre efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements for data centre operations.
Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 support of data centre services.

Job Requirements

Strong understanding of data centre architecture and design principles.
Experience with data centre management tools and technologies, such as monitoring and alerting systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
