Company: Paam Eatables Ltd Location: Greater noida Department: Engineering & Maintenance Reports To: Plant / General Manager Role Overview The Machinery Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and smooth functioning of all production machinery, utilities, and plant equipment at Paam Eatables Ltd. This role ensures zero downtime, compliance with food safety standards, and optimal efficiency of production lines, supporting the company’s goal of delivering safe and high-quality food products. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all production and packaging equipment. Ensure timely troubleshooting and repair of machinery to minimize downtime. Lead and supervise a team of mechanical, electrical, and utility technicians. Maintain utilities such as boilers, compressors, refrigeration units, HVAC, and water treatment systems. Coordinate with the Production Manager to align machinery availability with production schedules. Maintain documentation related to machinery maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and spare parts inventory. Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP, ISO, FSSAI, etc.) and workplace safety standards. Drive continuous improvement projects for machine efficiency, energy conservation, and automation. Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers for spare parts and technical services. Prepare and monitor the engineering budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience in machinery/maintenance roles in food or FMCG manufacturing. Strong knowledge of food processing and packaging equipment. Hands-on experience with PLC, automation, and instrumentation systems (preferred). Familiarity with preventive maintenance software/CMMS. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Key Skills Expertise in equipment troubleshooting and repair. Knowledge of utilities management (boilers, refrigeration, compressed air). Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards. Leadership and team management. Strong communication and vendor management skills. Performance Metrics Reduction in machine downtime. Adherence to preventive maintenance schedules. Compliance with safety and food quality standards. Budget optimization and cost savings.
