Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Responsible for all kinds of domestic , import , & export activities.
  • Handle Import & Export documentation, Commodity codes and duty structure, Forex Payment terms & methods.
  • Handle all dispatch related work.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders to manage the import of raw materials, components, and equipment.
  • Evaluate import duties and taxes, applying any applicable exemptions or free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
  • Coordinate with international customers and logistics provides to manage the export of medical devices.
  • Prepare and manager export documents such as invoices, shipping, bills, export licenses and airway bills.
  • Ensure compliance with destination country regulations, including labeling, packing and product certifications.
  • Handle export incentives, such as duty drawbacks or refunds, in compliance with applicable schemes.
  • Stay updated on Indian customs laws, DGFT (director General of Foreign Trade) policies, and international trade regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with medical device export/import requirements, including ISO 13485 and Indian MDR Standards.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Well experience in MS-Office & Tally.
  • Proven experience handling customs documentation and coordinating with regulatory authorities.
  • Knowledge of Indian customs regulations, DGFT policies, and INCOTERMS.
  • Familiarity with export/import software, ERP systems, or tools like ICEGATE and EXIM documentation systems.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinate with stakeholders across borders.
  • Effective problems-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Familiarity with international trade regulations and compliance requirements for medical devices.
