Logistics Manager

As a Logistics and Vendor Management Executive for the e-commerce business, your role will involve overseeing supply chain operations, vendor coordination, and logistics management to ensure marketplace efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing end-to-end logistics operations such as order fulfillment, dispatch, transportation, and last-mile delivery. - Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and courier partners to facilitate timely procurement and distribution of products. - Negotiating rates, contracts, and service agreements with logistics and vendor partners. - Monitoring stock movement, warehouse activities, and inventory control to maintain a seamless supply chain flow. - Ensuring vendors adhere to company policies, quality standards, and delivery schedules. - Resolving logistics issues such as delays, returns, damages, or disputes with vendors and partners. - Collaborating with the e-commerce operations team to optimize delivery timelines and reduce costs. - Tracking, analyzing, and reporting logistics KPIs such as delivery performance, TAT, and vendor reliability. - Identifying and onboarding new vendors, suppliers, and courier partners. - Working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. - 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or vendor management, preferably in e-commerce. - Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills. - Knowledge of warehouse operations, procurement, and order management systems. - Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics management software/ERP systems. - Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking abilities. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup/e-commerce environment. Preferred skills for the position include: - Experience in e-commerce logistics or marketplace vendor handling. - Familiarity with courier aggregators, warehouse management systems, and fulfillment models. - Analytical mindset with the ability to optimize costs and improve delivery performance.
