Logistics Manager

As a Logistics Manager at LAMCO in Kuwait, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include: - **Strategic Planning & Coordination** - Developing and implementing logistics strategies aligned with production and business goals. - Collaborating with procurement, production, and sales teams to forecast logistics requirements. - **Transportation & Distribution Management** - Overseeing inbound and outbound freight operations for timely delivery. - Negotiating with transporters, freight forwarders, and shipping lines for competitive rates. - **Warehouse & Inventory Management** - Ensuring optimal storage, handling, and inventory accuracy. - Implementing effective stock control systems to minimize wastage and shortages. - **Compliance & Documentation** - Supervising import/export documentation and customs clearance. - Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. - **Team Leadership & Development** - Leading, mentoring, and developing the logistics team. - Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. - **Cost Control & Reporting** - Preparing and monitoring logistics budget to control costs. - Generating periodic reports on logistics performance and improvement opportunities. **Qualifications & Skills** - Education: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration (MBA preferred). - Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in logistics/supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or steel industry.
