Job Title: Logistics Dispatcher Location: Bengaluru Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month Department: Logistics / Operations Reporting To: Operations Manager / Logistics Head Industry: Construction / Building Materials / Transport Job Summary:We are looking for a responsible and organized Logistics Dispatcher to manage the daily dispatch of sand blocks and oversee the maintenance of our fleet of vehicles. The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, monitor vehicle conditions, and coordinate with drivers and field staff to maintain smooth operations. Key Responsibilities:Plan and schedule the dispatch of sand blocks to various sites. Allocate vehicles and drivers efficiently based on load, location, and availability. Track and monitor daily vehicle movements using GPS or log sheets. Maintain detailed dispatch logs and delivery reports. Coordinate with drivers to ensure on-time delivery and address route issues. Schedule regular vehicle servicing and handle urgent maintenance requirements. Maintain vehicle documents, fitness certificates, insurance, and service records. Communicate with site supervisors and customers regarding delivery timelines. Optimize routes to reduce fuel costs and delivery time. Ensure compliance with transport and safety regulations. Assist with inventory and loading coordination, if needed. Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 2–3 years of experience in dispatch or fleet operations (preferably in construction or logistics). Strong knowledge of local routes and transportation regulations. Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, WhatsApp, GPS tracking tools). Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple dispatches daily. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing construction material dispatch Familiarity with fleet tracking. Diploma or graduate in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
