Job Summary: The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the efficient movement, distribution, of orders from the customers. This role involves coordinating logistics and supply chain activities, ensuring timely delivery of products, and optimizing operational processes to improve productivity and reduce costs. Key Responsibilities: Logistics Planning: Develop and implement logistics strategies and plans to optimize supply chain efficiency and meet company objectives. Transportation Management: Oversee transportation operations, including freight management, carrier selection, route planning, and cost control. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, manage stock control, and coordinate with suppliers and warehouses to ensure product availability and reduce excess inventory. Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments, such as procurement, production, and sales, to ensure seamless supply chain operations and address any issues that arise. Warehouse Operations: Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance logistics operations and reduce costs. Qualifications: Education: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional) are a plus. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a proven track record in managing logistics operations and leading teams.
