Key Responsibilities:
• Review vulnerability assessment reports shared by the Security team and analyze identified risks on Linux-based servers.
• Perform remediation activities to fix non-compliance items, security misconfigurations, and system-level vulnerabilities.
• Apply security patches, configuration changes, and hardening measures in alignment with organizational standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to validate fixes and ensure full compliance closure.
• Maintain documentation of remediation actions, change records, and compliance status.
Required Skills:
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Linux server administration and security remediation.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, system hardening, and patch management.
• Understanding of vulnerability reports (e.g., CVE, CVSS scoring) and ability to translate findings into actionable fixes.
• Familiarity with compliance and security best practices (e.g., CIS benchmarks, security baselines).
• Good troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills\
